Let's talk day 2

That tight end list really stands out to me. Some really good value at WR, some very good corners as well.

Yes.

He's just so tiny. It's not just the lack of height, it's that he is so slight, too. I don't know that he's really any better/different a player than Tutu Atwell for the Rams. And Atwell is a full second faster in the 40.

I think he's a fair bit better than Atwell, but his size is a worry no doubt.

If rumors are true that KC was trying to trade up with Dallas for Mazi Smith, KC might try and get Keanu Benton in round 2. DT is definitely a roster weakness. I still can't believe they didn't re-sign Khalen Saunders. His play was ticking up last year.

A run stuffing DT is definitely a hole; however, it's not a difficult hole to fill. There are Pennel types available on the cheap all of the time. I'm not saying they won't get one, I'm just not sure that's a great thing to do early in the draft. Those guys usually take a couple of seasons to get NFL strength anyway. And as for pass rush from the DT spot, you've got Jones of course, Omenihu, and Wharton is apparently doing well in his rehab. So yeah, you need a run stuffer, but that's not an expensive spot to fill.

I really like this next tier of WR's, personally. Give me a Rice, Hyatt, Tillman, Mingo, or if they wait until the 3rd, Perry, Mims, Scott, or Palmer and let's roll.

And I don't think just because they were talking to Dallas that it means they wanted Mazi Smith; it just means that Dallas wasn't comfortable waiting until 31 to get their guy.

I read that as Dallas was concerned the Chiefs wanted Mazi, not that it confirmed the Chiefs wanted him, and they didn't want to take that chance.

Mingo or Rice.

I'm just not a fan of Hyatt anymore, and I liked him a lot early in the college season last year. However the more I watched him, the less I liked him.

I saw that as well, and it read that way, but I think there's an assumption leap being made there.

I'm looking for an offensive weapon or a likely starter at RT, and I'm good with moving up to the middle of the second (and maybe moving up into the middle of the third behind that move) to do it.
I'd move some of those players around but that list looks good to me.

I am a big fan of Benton and think he would be a great add.

Would love to see your order.

I'll admit I've become a Mingo knob slobber in the last week or two.

I think there are better OTs that should be there in the 3rd like Wanya Morris, so I'm not super high on Freeland or Bergeron in the 2nd. I'm also prioritizing weapon unless it's a guy like Benton.
