Let's talk day 2

That tight end list really stands out to me. Some really good value at WR, some very good corners as well.

This is where the value is at WR. Round 2. It was always going to be that way, we just got our hopes up about one of the top 4 WRs falling to 31.

7th's don't get traded much on draft day historically.

4-122 and 6-178, you could probably get from 63 to 51 or 52.
4-134 and 6-217 might get you to 55 or 56.

So those guys will have a rookie year like Skyy Moore? How do those guys compare to Skyy?

My point is I see a lot of those names being gone by our pick tomorrow, so we likely need to trade up if we’re targeting one.

I think they can wait and get one, because 7 aren't going in round 2, but I'd prefer they trade up for Mingo specifically.

Gentlemen, tomorrow we really hit the meat of this draft. I am hyped! Hoping for a DT and a wr tomorrow. Mingo is my crush but I doubt he’s there.

I have my heart set on Mingo but he is going to go early IMO.

I also like Tillman, Trey Palmer, Mims, Rice and even AT Perry.

In agreement they should trade up for one they specifically like, such as Mingo.

A lot depends on Hopkins and what the staff actually thinks of Niang.

If somehow Mauch or Jones are within striking distance, then those could be good insurance policies. If the staff is sold on Niang at RT and we don’t land Hopkins, then a minor move up for a WR makes sense.

I’m curious about DT. We need to keep Nnadi off the field. Benton is the dream, but maybe we’re targeting a couple mid-late round guys like Moro Ojomo or Jerrod Clark.

I think Hyatt is the best receiver in the draft and if we can get him in the 2nd, then I don't care what happens with the rest of the draft because I'd be so happy with the first two picks. He ****ed himself with his combine performance. I really hope we trade up for him or another WR.

If they don't get a WR in round 2, then I'll still be happy with whoever Veach and Andy decide is worthy to be drafted. They've shown over and over that they have the best eyes in the league for talent in the draft.

I damn sure trust them more than the guys that throw fits on here because they didn't draft the guy who they thought was the best based on the highlights they saw on YouTube.

The Chiefs aren't getting Hopkins and even if somehow they did it wouldn't keep them from drafting or moving up for a guy they really like in the 2nd. A rookie WR isn't going to play much unless there is an injury anyway and Hopkins is old and only has 2 years in his contract.
