I bet Johnny Unitas was happy that his last stop in football was riding the bench in San Diego. That's how you want the fans to remember you.

Today on NFL Radio on Sirius, Charlie Weis sounded like he was at a funeral. Tommy blew it out his ass, and there was no way to spin it otherwise.

Brady is NOT going to the Jets, Raiders or 49'ers. There is NO reason for any of them to sign him.

Lamarr, Rodgers, Jimmy G are all better at this point

Brady is a one year placeholder for someone and there are very few teams that Brady fits in with his piss poor play.

If I were gambling on this, now that Brady is a single man, I can't imagine he will not rededicate himself more to football this offseason and play for someone next year (Perhaps Tampa, New England or Nashville?) at a higher level than this past season.

I'm really not sure what to make of Rodgers. Maybe a change of scenery would do him some good, but I don't get the feeling that he cares much to put in the needed work.

I honestly don’t think he goes to SF. They are the #2 seed with Jimmy G and Purdy. They don’t need Brady.

There is only one team that has enough to carry his old ass and it's SF. If they don't want him he should retire. Raiders may want him but that would be a mistake. He can't get through the AFC with what they have on OL and defense. Miami is the same thing.

Unless Purdy completely flames out in the playoffs... he'll go into next season as the 49ers starting QB.
He could flame out and still be alright. He was Mr Irrelevant and has already done amazing things there. I honestly think he’s in the driver’s seat for QB 1. Especially with an off-season to improve.

Doubt it. He will be 46. Age catches up to everyone.

Because they are not good. They need a regime change, but for whatever reason you can't just fire Belichick. So give him one more run with Brady and then clean house when it doesn't work.

That’s my guess. He will be playing and will want to pick a team he can get another ring with. There are other possibilities like San Fran, but we’ll see.

Wouldn’t bet a nickel on him retiring
