I hope he's good obviously. I want to see a WR who can run routes. We don't need Jet Sweep Jr.

Chiefs playbook for him this season:
1)Line up on the outside left, run 40 yards straight for the goal line, catch Patrick's pass, run for the endzone.
2)Line up on the outside right, run 39 yards straight for the goal line, catch Patrick's pass, run for the endzone.

He'll mostly be a returner and as time goes the Chiefs will develop packages for him.

I imagine they'll use him similar to Hardman, or in conjunction with Hardman for some potentially big time misdirections etc. They'll likely get him involved in the screen game, sweeps etc and probably a few dope ass red zone plays.

There is no doubt they traded for him because of his talent but also because of the culture here. With Andy, Bienemy, Nagy, and a good group of veterans to take him under their wings and get him straightened out hopefully.

But it is going to be up to Toney to be accepting of that and put in the work

Elite level speed and his change of direction is second to none in this league…love this trade.

We’ll recoup the compensatory pick so basically giving up a 6th for him.

Also under contract for the next 3 years at cheap numbers…

Is there some risk? Sure…but if he hits, my God.

Lol Tyreek has never been accused of not trying to learn his playbook, skipping practices meetings, throwing his team under the bus, or ever been ejected from a game for fighting among other things. Let's call a spade a spade here. Toney is closer to AB than he is to Tyreek.

He's Hardman's replacement (should he not act like a clown), so give him some of those. I'm sure Veach and Andy talked this over before pulling the trigger.

Of course. But there's very little downside if he doesn't. We lose one of our no man's land comp picks that isn't even a 3rd rounder but more like 3.5.

The upside so far outweighs any potential downside that it's almost not worth talking about. If he comes in and continues the way he has, he'll be gone.

But if he comes in and balls out, they got a guy on the cheap (dirt cheap) that could be a big weapon both this year and in the foreseeable future.

Luckily he's not as far gone as AB.

He's still young and winning organizations and coaches with track records of success often carry more weight than perennial losers.

So hopefully he actually listens to Reid and Mahomes instead of blowing them off like he did the Giants staff.

Totally agree. I am placing my faith in Andy in straightening him out, heck even Joe Judge said he was a good kid.
