If not watching football was the only issue, then yeah, trade for him, but it's clearly not.

The other stuff is fair criticism. Not watching football means absolutely nothing. Many players don’t watch football.

I know it’s unpopular, but I’m not giving up a third for him. I like the idea of the trade back to 36 as long as the value of staying out isn’t better.

If you look at some of the most talented wideouts the game has seen many were called "locker room cancer" too. Here is a list.

Criss Carter= was called a "diva" when he first went to Philly and was kicked out over drug problems. Went to the Vikings and had a hall of fame career.

Randy Moss= traded to the Raiders after getting "too big for his boots" in Minnesota..had a rough spell with the Raiders and got kicked out again to the Pats for a late round pick and then he goes bonkers with Brady.

Terrell Owens= Was shipped from team to team because of his attitude but no-one can deny he delivered on the field almost everywhere he went and helped Philly to reach a superbowl.

Odell Beckham= problems in New York and Cleveland..called a "diva" and "cancer" but then goes to the Rams and helps them win a superbowl.

Other guys I could mention are Stephon Diggs and Deandre Hopkins..both shipped out after their teams felt they were a "distraction".

Imo Toney is worth taking a gamble on considering his contract, age and potential. You look at some of his highlights you see glimpses of Tyreek at times. So I would support making a move if Veach and Andy does it.

How much you wanna bet they haven’t even spoken? My guess is Kafka has called/reached out more than once with no reply.

I mean…they’ve been there a couple months and already want him gone bad enough to call teams offering him.

Has that ever happened before?

And there’s little doubt about Toneys talent.

If there’s anyone that can help him turn things around, it’s the people in this locker room and coaching staff.

Nobody wanted Tyreek, either…

Quite a list you are lumping him into. Not saying he doesn't fit, but all of the rest of that list was pretty darn impressive at their first stop.

That's a fair point but I was mainly talking about character perceptions tbh. Criss Carter had a poor first year in Philly but then in his next two years there he was getting better and better but never had a one thousand yard season. Though granted he was getting a bunch of TD's.

I really liked Tony back in the draft and wanted him in KC, but that injury list is extensive, plus talk about attitude issues and playbook difficulties to boot? We have a notoriously difficult playbook for WRs.

Hard sell.
