Sure he WAS, but will he be moving forward as age begins to diminish his top level speed? Tyreek’s existence as a premier WR is entirely dependent on his ridiculous speed.

Do the flaws in Tyreek’s game… near the top of the league in dropped passes last year including like 7 passes deflected off his hands that resulted in INT’s become more exposed without his top level speed?

The Chiefs have a recent history of getting burned by giving players massive contracts to reward past production only to see diminishing returns after their big investment… Justin Houston, Eric Berry, etc.

I'd imagine other GMs are implementing the same strategy...waiting until that Monday night to make any moves...probably why FA has come to a halt.

Packers signed Sammy recently...probably thinking he was going to get poached...at $4 million...I think they were right. Even with his injury history...that's a smoking deal. Hard to believe he is only 28...obviously reptiles dont age.

What about Flowers? I think they possibly bring Ingram back...just waiting until the deadline.

I think the Chiefs are waiting on draft to see where we are at. Melvin Ingram signing by KC would not affect our comp picks.

I think Flowers was cut, so he wouldn’t either.

Keeping Tyreek would not have been easy on the defense. We used picks in a trade for years be it Patrick or Frank or Brown Jr. had a good 4 year run. Now we need picks too reload.
That's OUR fault for not having a consistent run game and a legit #2 WR. Get those pieces back + Tyreek then see how defenses fare. All water under the bridge now. Reek is gone and will be greatly missed.

1. He just turned 28. Stop acting like he's 30+

2. If he loses some speed, he stops being the fastest player in the league and becomes merely, one of the fastest players in the league. Big deal.

I’m not really that worried about losing Tyreek. Andy had very good offenses in Philly with Freddie Mitchell, Greg Lewis and Reggie Brown for years before he picked up TO and drafted DeSean Jackson/Jeremy Maclin.

He also had good offenses with Donnie Avery, Dwayne Bowe and Junior Hemingway early in KC.

Now he’s got a much better QB than he did in the previous years. I think we’ll be fine

QFT.

People need to quit worrying about losing Tyreek. The offense will be fine.

If you absolutely must be worried about something, worry about the defense.

I know we want every year to count but veach made some mistakes (as all gms do). So we have to get a little creative.

Burning that 1st on Clyde was a big one.
