Why not? The salary cap goes up every year. So players salaries will go up too. The salary cap gets ****ed when you pay players a lot of money and they suck, ala frank Clark. Not because you pay a player a lot of money and they're elite like we think Hill will be. I wouldn't care at all if we paid Tyreek the $23.9 mil a year he actually will get because I believe that he'll continue his top level of play.

I'm quite happy to watch other AFC teams pay $25-30M a year for wide receivers.

The WR market is clearly out of control, and there’s a reason why two great organizations traded away their #1 WRs this season.
Only a butt****ing moron like King can’t understand this. |

We could have Garrett Wilson for the next 6 years when you include the franchise tag. Maybe that's the master plan.

Nothing wrong with having a proven WR who can bail out your QB or be the go to guy. Seems Clarks contract hurt the chances of keeping Hill. I would also add that Great QB's who can make most WR are hard to come by. Last years QB's who played in the SB sure had great WR help. |

While Veach is out there trading away his best players for peanuts, George Paton was getting Tim Patrick and Courtland Sutton signed to new deals for $26M per year COMBINED.

Really? Miami and the Faid are now contenders. I think not. They are no better than they were with their QB.
