I though about that earlier and think it’s a double edged sword.

1) that can absolutely be used to save money on this years cap.
2) it pushes money into next years cap that we really can’t afford to do for players that aren’t “clean”.

And I really don’t see him agreeing to that.

Well, I’m not sure he has many choices at this point.

He’s a massive risk in many ways for anyone looking to sign him.

He could play 1 game and never play again.

If it’s us or Dallas (which I don’t believe) and Dallas just cut Collins and Cooper to save against the cap, what sense would it make for them to get in a bidding war for a pass rusher with a broken neck?

I figured it would be difficult to trade him regardless after this, but now they want teams to take on the contract and man what team is gonna take Baker w/18m cap hit

Vikings brought him in for a visit. So they’re interested as well.

Yeah, and they just gave Danielle Hunter $18Million so maybe their discretion should not be trusted or used to quantify any decision about player's injuries. If both of those guys went down that would decimate their DL.

I think people are undervaluing (maybe NFL teams too) based on last year when he was hurt.

He's better than Wentz or Jimmy G (not a super high bar).
Baker is a douchebag baby. His arm is weak as hell and he acts like he's some all world tough guy that can will himself to make plays. He sucks and will never win anything. He literally drove his two best WRs out of town.

OBJ never wanted to be in Cleveland and didn't play out, that's on him. Landry did what he normally did went all out. He was cut, wtf did that have to do with Baker?

Yeah, if those 3 were my only options, I'm running to the podium to take Jimmy G. Wentz and Mayfield may be the same guy so I'll take Wentz to not have to deal with the attitude.

I’d laugh my ass off if the Vikings sign Smith after giving all that money to Hunter.

They deserve their result, good or bad with that move because it would be a MASSIVE gamble. I’m a big gambler and I wouldn’t take that risk.

They just know that their ONLY chance at a Super Bowl with Cousins is to have a full blown elite team around him, so chances need taken.

Every time my wife hears about the 2 OU QB’s she says they need therapy asap.

True confidence looks like Patrick Mahomes

Everything. Baker makes shit reads and he didn't get the ball. Winning makes everything better. They didn't win, its Bakers fault and OBJ wanted out. Did he complain in LA. Nope.

This incentive game seems clever, but how is it different to giving someone a 2 year contract with a void year?
