Well, it has gotten better since we've moved the sewer treatment plant away from the interstate and John Morrell closed.

Yeah they did away with that. Less of an eye sore driving in too. I got so immune to it when I was a kid though. People would visit and say why does it smell so bad, and I'd be like I don't know what you are talking about but I remember it used to smell really bad when I first moved here.

I'm not sure about it violating state law, otherwise obviously they wouldn't have been able to do it.

But one in particular that I know of out by the mall is a red light camera. You are allowed to do a right turn on red, but it will snap a picture if you don't come to a complete stop during the red. Haven't been out there for quite some time, but assuming it's still there and operational.

Clive had that as did the Quad Cities and they discontinued their use because of state law. It was passed a couple of years ago.

Also depended on which direction the wind is from. Could get a good whiff of IBP/Tyson from Dakota city.

Wednesday was blood day at IBP. Come in on a hot steamy morning hungover and you'd likely lose breakfast.
