Watkins/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle: 5 catches, 31 yards

Total no show tonight by the non-Kelce/Tyreek pass catching options.

Add WR depth to the list of needs this offseason, right up there with offensive line IMO.

I think it’s the perfect time to strike.
I think both WR classes comparable. This year has more fast/twitchy guys so KC will like these guys a lot.

I'm in. We've needed a solid #2 TE for awhile now.

That's another way to do it. Pitts is going top ten but Freiermuth could be an answer if Reid was willing to adapt.

Remember Patriots were all spread at one point but when they landed Hernandez to go with Gronk they changed their offense.

Chiefs running 2 TE's would present new matchup problems for teams and let us run CEH more and then have Freiermuth chip and go into passing patterns.

We never trusted our run game.....

We came out in the 2nd half with draws to Clyde for chunks....and went right back to forcing the passing games.

Never moved the safeties down to respect the run, never got the d line to slow down .......watch Patrick run around.

We got outcoached IMO. We never adjusted our attack.

Really don't think running more would've done that much. Tampa wanted us to run. They weren't gunna change or bring the safeties down any further if we just ran the ball a few more times.

They weren't going to allow any big plays. Pretty much every defense we face plays 2 high safeties now.

Really the only schematic thing we could've done I guess is just alot more short routes and quick game but Tampa was bottling that down too when we ran it.

Sometimes there's just not much you can do when your OL is all backups and you're facing a Top 3 defense with a very good pass rush who gets home with 4 and a good secondary and LBs.

Add in the 3 dropped TDs (Reek, Williams, DRob), Kelce's drop on 3rd down, and a bunch of penalties and this is what can happen.

Give me a big-bodied, sure-handed WR that can run a 12 yard slant and run forward. That's what we should be looking for in the draft. If you're calling for a #2 TE, look how many times we used a 2nd TE, even with back up OTs and our QB running for his life.

Bucs were the better team. Period. They are more deep and had less weaknesses than us. We got the superstars sure but overall Bucs roster is solid from top to bottom and they have way more depth. Ours is filled w holes especially w injuries to oline. Mahomes can't mask everything.

Bucs had a terrible game plan first game which is why they lost but they adjusted. I was impressed.

All good we'll be back. Just gotta keep getting better.

Like that Illinois kid in the middle round. I'm all for drafting some WRs, but not in the early rounds.

You mean like DK Metcalf?
