Watkins/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle: 5 catches, 31 yards

Total no show tonight by the non-Kelce/Tyreek pass catching options.

Add WR depth to the list of needs this offseason, right up there with offensive line IMO.

Only one worth keeping is Pringle because he is good on special teams.

Cut the rest.

I want to like him so badly but he just has zero football IQ or instinct. Running fast can only take you so far, Mecole.

His head is never in the game. There’s never been a connection with Mahomes & him. It’s like they are on 2 different pages when Hardman is running a route.

Hardman has the speed to make big plays but not the situational awareness or route running ability to thrive in our offense.

Sammy is more fragile than a crystal glass.

DRob couldn't catch COVID if he spent 3 months in Wuhan without a mask.

Pringle has shown toughness and ability and should get a chance to contribute. We need to draft a receiver and look at FA for another one.

Hill, Kelce, FA WR, Drafted WR, Pringle plus scrubs would be an upgrade.

And obviously the offensive line is a huge priority to give Mahomes the confidence in his protection and the WR's the time to get open.

Why Mahomes never told these guys to all cut their routes short and come back for the ball is beyond me. They had a lot of space in the middle of the field that seemed to go to waste.

If you could do it over, I don’t think any of us would’ve brought Robinson or Watkins back this year. I’m sure both have played their last game as Chiefs.

Would you still take CEH at 32? Or would you take like Tee Higgins or Chase Claypool though?

My guess is we could’ve taken like Antonio Gibson in the 2nd and gotten similar production out of him.

I’m hoping Gay and Niang prove to be worthwhile long term though, even if neither made much of an impact this year.

I’m with Dane in regards to Fisher’s timeline. I thnkhe’ll be back by November which I fine. We can make it through that.

But man Robinson and Sammy were such a huge problem this year. Mecole had his moments but he’s just not enough.

I think we have to get Patrick a big bodied weapon with speed. That’s gotta be our focus. Get this guy a backup TE with measurables as well.

Time to replenish our weapons

Would agree that Watkins is done and Robinson is probably done. If they can get someone who is more of a physical route runner to platoon with Hardeman would be ideal.

Think in the long run CEH will be fine and above average pick. But sure if you play the 20/20 perfect hindsight you can find guys we should have taken instead of CEH. Not sure it is a game worth playing.

Maybe offer this year’s 1 and 2 (more like a 2 and 3 this year) to Jason Licht at Tampa for Chris Godwin?
