Watkins/Hardman/Robinson/Pringle: 5 catches, 31 yards

Total no show tonight by the non-Kelce/Tyreek pass catching options.

Add WR depth to the list of needs this offseason, right up there with offensive line IMO.

Been saying this all year. Besides Hill, we have no one who can beat press, and Hardman and Robinson are lost vs zone. Sammy is never healthy and even when he is he's not great at anything.

Seriously we have no WRs with the size, length, hands or physicality to make contested catches. Also no elite route runners either and zero redzone threats besides Kelce. Give Mahomes more of a possession type WR who can run great routes consistently please.

Hardman is a dumbass. Let's call it like it is. He has a ton of speed but that's it. Can't read zones to find open spots, doesn't adjust for hot routes properly, makes mental errors every game. It is obvious Mahomes does and cannot trust him.

Robinson has to go. That guy running backwards after the catch is a nightmare. That's if he actually catches the ball.

Pringle has shown flashes but is inconsistent. He has done a good job in return game.

Hammy Watkins gotta go. Might as well have been dead cap space this season.

Fix the OL, get a third receiver Mahomes can rely on (or hey, maybe we can try getting the RBs more involved in the passing game? Pretty ****ing please, Reid), and we're SB favs again

Hardman very occasionally shows glimpses...but not enough. Need a big dominant receiver IMO... Dwayne Bowe still alive?

I can't decide if I would rather use the first pick for OL and get a veteran WR or vice versa.

There are plenty of good WR on the FA market this year. Godwin for one.

I think Pringle, Robinson and Hardman are fine if we had a fully fit Watkins but without someone in that role none of them are good enough to be WR2.

Unfortunately I would say if that's not the case by this point, then it seems Hardman is not a long term solution for this team. Need to find guys that Mahomes can trust. He had better chemistry in one game with Albert Wilson than we have seen in 2 years with Hardman.

Agreed. Watkins would be a fantastic #3 receiver for us if he could stay healthy. He can't. We drafted Hardman to potentially replace him. He can't. Bummer situation, but it is what it is.

Veach has a lot of work to do this offseason. OL, DE, LB, WR.

Dump Clark, Watkins, Robinson, Niemann. Draft to replace, and use FA to fill immediate gaps. First priority has to be protecting Mahomes...fix the OL! With Fisher, Schwartz, and LDT returning, we should be able to shore up the line in short order. Maybe move Jones to DE? Jones + KPass with Nnadi + Pennell stuffing the middle? LB has been a shit show for years; might as well scrap that entire crew from coaches down and try something new there? Interesting offseason, for sure

I think our secondary is really good and should get better as most of them are young.

We can't really do anything with Clark until post 1 June as the cap hit before then is huge. If over the cap is correct then we can save $19m by trading him after that. If not then we could restructure him and save $12m.

That is number 1 priority for me this offseason. Can get big savings with Schwartz, Fisher, Mathieu and Jones.

We really need a veteran edge rusher to come in for Clark, OL help and maybe receiver.

Didn’t have to do anything, the penalties on us were over 100 yds and timed very effectively.

Yep, fix that and the receivers, who people are complaining about, will get open with more time. Also, maybe our running backs can score with the simple handoff near the goal line, instead of always having to get creative down there. Fix the o-line, and you fix most of the problems.

It's very optimistic to think that both Fisher and Schwartz return. Both injuries, or in Schwartz case area of injury, are very difficult to return from. I'll be impressed if one of them returns, let alone both.

I am now convinced that Hardman is not a number 2 receiver, not yet anyway. He has not shown enough "feel for the game" and route running.

I like Pringle, but he is not a good option as a #2.

Thought they were going to have a huge game for them. Had them down for 200 plus yards as I thought they would go all out to stop Hill and Kelce.
