So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

Then in subs you could have Jones and Epenesa both lines up inside....
And it allows us to dump Okafor next offseason if we need too.

Wow. That sounds tough as nails. You never know too, he could slip

Walters view:

3/21/20: Epenesa did not impress teams at the combine, and they were mildly disappointed in his workout. He could go in the back half of the first round, but slipping to the second round is possible.

I wonder who Mahomes would want the Chiefs to draft with the first pick?

IOL for protection?

RB weapon to help take over a game?

A good defensive player to help him get ball back?

It feels like he should have a say lol.

I would guess IOL to block and help him stay healthy

But his mind probably goes a million miles an hour thinking of what he could do with a dominant RB that can also take over a game. Another weapon in his arsenal.

Our interior OL could use a star player. Right now we have a bunch of mediocre guard-center-guard.

Was watching KC play NE again in the AFC Championship game and man..we do miss Morse.

The 1st half was infuriating knowing that Kareem would've converted most of the 3rd and shorts on the NE side of the field

Both center and RB could be upgraded.

Another element no one has mentioned is Reid has film how the offense would look like with an elite RB playing with Mahomes and what it looks with a middling one in Damien.

could you imagine Mahomes behind Roaf, Waters, Wiegmann, Shields, and Tait?

Unstoppable. Every run would be 5 years plus and the passing game would just kill people.

Admittedly I haven’t seen all of these guys due to covid19 and am still learning about them. Anyone here studied Denzel Mims?

Yeah. Aiyuk, Shenault and Higgins can all **** off. This guy looks like the 3rd best receiver in the draft. And we probably won’t have any shot at getting him, but goddamn is he gonna be good.

I'm not sure if it's worth the time because the way Matt Rhule is bringing in his former players, there's a good chance he ends up going in the second round to Carolina.

I know this will sound weird, but it seems like he is a short strider when he runs. And he doesn't seem to have quick feet either. Of course, I have only seen a few minutes of tape, but I would rather take a WR with blazing speed, and teach him everything else if necessary.

We don't need a 1, 2, or 3 WR, so if we are spending a draft pick on one, I would want that player to have something we can't coach up, like blazing speed, because he is going to have time to develop.

So, obviously I would rather not choose a WR at all unless a blue chip can't miss suddenly falls to us like Rodgers fell to the Packers.

I think Mims can be solid but his WR play does not match his combine. I wouldn't be surprised if some team takes him before Pittman but Pittman is the better player in my opinion.
