So lets talk some legit options for our pick.
So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

I’m a Dobbins guy, but no doubt Swift would be electric in a Reid offense. Dantzler is a pretty clean corner at 64. I would hope most Chiefs fans would be very pleased if this were to be the result...

You’re definitely basing that on his 40 time at the combine and not his tape.

I certainly don’t believe he ran a 4.38 at his virtual Pro Day, but he’s not that slow on tape and clearly looked like he didn’t even know how to properly run the 40 at the combine.

If Dantzler is capable of a 4.38 and we somehow get him in the second because he can't run races good then that is up there with Justin Houston falling to us in the 3rd for steals. So I hope that is all true

He’s probably not capable of a 4.38, but he’s also significantly faster than 4.62 and it’s obvious on tape.

He played (and played very well) against LSU and Bama. I mean there’s no hiding there. The guys the only corner in CFB that didn’t get roasted by Chase last year.

Remember guys if the Chiefs had a game manager at QB I'd be pissed because it would definitely be a hardlined positional value (LB,CB,DL) situation because you can't waste high end resources in a position that would damn us into Playoff purgatory longer with no chance getting in the SB.

A month or so ago you were sold on Swift. Change of heart? I'm all in on Dobbins. Terrific in pass protection and can carry the mail as a full-time, three down back.

I think there are a lot of day 1 starters to be had at corner at the end of the second round. I'm not 100% certain I can say the same for running back. I think there is a run on backs at the top of the second round (Dobbins, Swift, Taylor, Akers, Edwards-Helaire).
