So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

All I am saying is that these people make mistakes. Use whatever draft guide you want but understand that their grades on a player aren't gospel. That was my point, not that you can't use them as a reference.

Yeah but you can whiff, too. Like using our first pick on the 24 year old #9 CB

Let's see who is on the board..I haven't committed to it yet! Assuming the linebackers are gone it will be an interesting choice. There are plenty of guys I could get behind, Arnette is just someone I added that I like more than most.

I mean I get it, I completely fell in love with Sean Bunting from Central Michigan last year and as it turned out we would have had to use our first rounder to get him.

Maybe Arnette is a riser. I admit I don't watch college football so you know better than me.

This will be a weird draft. I do think that Arnette could go in the 20's to 40's. He is such a presence and he beats up on WR's. I know Spags likes a certain kind of corner and would have to imagine this guy didn't escape notice of guys like Veach or Ballard in Indy.

Also reading up on Sean Bunting (now Murphy-Bunting) he had a hell of a rookie year and I think we'd all be super happy with him as we are Thornhill.

Quote:
2019 season: Rookie year
In Week 5 against the New Orleans Saints, Murphy-Bunting recorded his first career interception off Teddy Bridgewater in the 31–24 loss. [8] In Week 13, during a 28–11 win against the Jacksonville Jaguars, Murphy-Bunting recorded a critical 4th quarter interception off of fellow rookie Gardner Minshew in the Buccaneers's end zone to prevent a potential score.[9] In Week 15, during a 38–17 win against the Detroit Lions, Murphy-Bunting had a team-leading 8 tackles, 1 pass deflection, and an interception off of fellow rookie David Blough which he returned 70 yards for his first career touchdown.[10] In Week 16, during a 23–20 loss to the Houston Texans, Murphy-Bunting had 4 tackles, 1 pass deflection, and his first career sack on Deshaun Watson which resulted in a fumble.[11]

Murphy-Bunting finished his rookie season with 44 tackles, 1 sack, 8 pass deflections, 3 interceptions, 1 interception return touchdown, and 1 forced fumble.

Zack Baun tests positive for diluted sample at the Combine.

He claims he drank too much water ahead of weigh-ins. Pundits believe this will not hurt his draft stock, and the new CBA will not penalize him with a “strike” against the substance abuse/PED policy.

Baun’s a great kid by all accounts. This shouldn’t hurt his stock too much, if at all.

Honestly, haven't watched the safeties that much yet. Just finished the WR's.
As I said KC's positional value is different than others, the RB shouldn't be diminished because it's all about protecting the Mahomes investment

The Chiefs have a Future HOFER behind Center, and you do anything possible to secure his longevity

except, apparently, put a top flight offensive line in front of him. At least according to this board. I'll bet Veach and Reid feel differently.

Yea, I’ll take it. That’s what a “BPA” draft could look like.
