So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

And Mahomes will end up missing just as many games as last year if they don't upgrade the RB position and throw it 60% of the time.

Good ****ing grief.

Why? Why is that the "sweet" spot?

Yeah, because both of those guys are playing for a Hall of Fame coach, right?
Why must you be such a dick?

Are you really trying to say that blocking wasn't a problem?

You really feel the need to get pissy over over what is in reality a minor difference in opinion?

I think judging by all the mock drafts and running my own that there should be some nice RB talent available in the 3rd and into the 4th. I don't think that's crazy. So yeah I think that's a sweet spot in terms of getting a good talent at RB. You're literally the first person I've run across act like that's a stupid idea.

And our HOF coach is going to throw 60% of the time. You should probably just get used to that. He has the best QB in football and an elite receiving corps. If we block a little better we'll be right back in the Super Bowl.

Nobody is saying we don't need a RB. I agree that Damien has shown he can't carry the load for a full season. I don't why you feel like you need to act like an ass about it.

I still want a CB or LB in the first but I do want a RB in that first three or four rounds. I'm not sure why that's so controversial for you.

The only RB that I could see in the 1st is Swift. He's really good but probably behind Jacobs from last year.

Can't really argue with that.

And I still wouldn't draft interior line in the first round.

I was just talking about if we stay at 32.

My best 2 options:

Drop down just far enough to add a mid third.l and take BPA.

Trade up using a 2 or 3 from next years draft to go get someone they really like.

I would ****ing explode if we could use next years 2nd to move up from 32 to get a guy like Lamb or one of the Alabama WRs.

We definitely need more picks, but I'm not sure how we do it.

Yeah, agreed. Trade down is certainly the best option because they really need more picks in order move around in this draft.

Giving up a 4th or 5th to move up in the 2nd or 3rd would suck.

The good thing is, they could certainly use a pick next year since we’ll be getting a couple of comp picks.

A trade down is ideal, but it will be difficult with two teams in front of us that reportedly would like to do the same thing.

It’s possible. Something tells me Veach might just prefer to finally have a 1st even if it’s all the way at the bottom.

Regardless, I think there’s a really good chance that there’s a player sitting at 32 that they won’t pass up.

Without a 6 or 7, they have zero ammo in order to trade up, which is something Veach has done in both years of running the draft.

Trading back would be smart to get an extra pick. Soebody moving into the 1st round to get the extra year is valuable. Veach can nail some starters with two 2's and a 3 and 4 easily.
