So lets talk some legit options for our pick.

So with Breeland coming back that pretty much leaves us open to take the best player on the board.

I'd like in this thread to post some videos and such since in a lot of threads there are questions about how good a guy is and what he can do so twitter and youtube of course are great for vids.

Even though I've pined for Willie Gay quite a bit there are numerous other guys I'd be fine with using our pick on because well they'd be fine fits.

So I'll start with some Willie Gay video since I've been asked a few times what he's good at...

But I have no doubt that Veach has a plan, and will make good choices.

There's not a position he could select other than a QB in the first where I'd say, " what the hell are you doing?"

Nice to be here.
I’m totally down with this

It’s fun to speculate and talk it over here, but ultimately Veach has been sooo money that no matter how it shakes out... I’m confident we’ll all look at this draft and be thrilled with it

Haven’t heard much of that if anything I’m hearing a lot of praise for him playing through injuries. Maybe they were just referring to tackling, which I do agree he needs to improve on, but he’s not Marcus Peters either.

The guy allowed a 40% completion rate since 2018 in the SEC. His effort was just fine.

I don’t view it at “struggle with” as much as just haven’t done it or really been asked to do it. Just because they haven’t done it doesn’t mean they can’t

WOW!!!

Kenneth Murray - LB

School: Oklahoma | Year: Junior

I have no idea how Murray ended up falling all the way down here. He's a good player, but hey, sometimes surprises like this happen when matching up fits and needs. He could end up going way earlier in the draft, and we just couldn't let this guy fall out of the first round. He's just way too good. So, congratulations, Chiefs. Things keep coming up roses for you. Of course, if you just wanted to reach out for one of the best remaining running backs, I'm not going to be mad about that, either.

For some Antoine Winfield hype... I've seen his NFL comparison as Mathieu because he's versatile like that, it would be badass to have 2 guys like that.

Fulton is still on the board in that mock, don't think I'd be taking Murray...

Yea ummm, I clearly like Fulton (just look at my last couple of posts in this thread), but no way I’m passing on Murray if he falls into our lap too.

I like the tradeback, IF you can get your LB/CB/S with that pick. Picking up a 3rd rd pick would enable a developmental OL (OT preferably), I bet you can get good G or C talent in the 4th and later.

This is complete and utter nonsense.

Williams has been in the league for 6 years and has 1,200 yards and 12 TD during that tenure.

Hunt had 1,300+ yards and 8 TD's in his rookie season.

Counting on a 28 year old RB who's never played a full 16 game season, let alone 19 games, is foolish. And in terms of NFL productivity, Williams is barely a pimple on Kareem Hunt's ass.

This is complete speculation and has become a dumb narrative.

Just what the Chiefs need: A older failure in the backfield to round out their current batch of scrubs.

Queen
Murray
Fulton

Are the guys who match need/value most.

If those guys are all gone then look at

Lloyd Cushenberry, Center
KJ Hamler, WR
Cesar Ruiz, Center/Guard
D'Andre Swift, RB

Trade Back into the 2nd and get another pick

JK Dobbins, RB
Michael Pittman, WR

come into play.

It’s a strong consensus that our top needs are......

AJ Epenesa is another guy that people are talking about falling out of the 1st.

We’re going to have at least one guy fall to us unexpectedly.

Murray or Queen if the Saints or Ravens don’t go LB, Epenesa or Fulton due to teams not being as high on them as the media, Swift or Ruiz due to positional value etc.
