Shady McCoy accused in Home Invasion.

Rehashed old news recycled by Yahoo!

USA TODAY Sports' A.J. Perez with the details on the complicated story and accusations against Buffalo Bills star LeSean McCoy.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/lesean-mc...233602867.html

Accusation:
The ex-girlfriend states the robbers specifically asked for items given to her by Shady.

Denial:
McCoy has been trying to get this deadbeat out of his house and denies any involvement.

I guess USA Today did not do much research on this before hitting the air. Stating he is a Buffalo Bills star?

Print first- ask questions later.

So Yahoo reposts a 2-year old story, with no updated info at all or even the bare minimum of research, and calls it news. This is the state of modern journalism.

40 K Reward.

https://www.ajc.com/news/local/40k-r...aLKTmHKqAUP1M/

The ex-girlfriend of Buffalo Bills running back LeSean McCoy is offering a $40,000 reward for information in the violent July robbery and beating attack on her in the Milton home she once shared with the football star.

Delicia Cordon and her lawyer announced the award during a press conference Friday for anyone who can help police arrest the man who beat her in the face with a gun and stole jewelry that McCoy had given her.Cordon also said during the media event streamed on social media by Channel 2 Action News, that she believes McCoy was “involved” in in the robbery and beating.McCoy has previously denied any involvement in the attack.

Exactly!

I guess it is just clickbait. They are putting this out as a current event and even doing a new video on it. WTF??

Why have AJ Perez rehash this shit?

It seems USA Today and other outlets are just trying to stir this up again for some reason.

I guess there is nothing to see here.

Mods can Romper this thread if they want, since there is nothing current to talk about.

It's all good.

Journalists are looking for ANYTHING linked to KC due to the attention brought from the SB title.

Yep, pretty dishonest journalism. Even the video makes it seem like a current event if you didn't know that it was old-which I didn't.

They got me! April Fools day came early this year. Or Ground Hog Day came late since they are recycling the same news.
