Best we can hope for is the 2 seed at this point, and that's fine, get the bye week and let the Patriots, Texans, Steelers and Bills fight it out. It's becoming more and more apparent that the Chiefs and Ravens are the two most deserving teams to represent the AFC with the Patriots, Bills and Texans all in a group below.

I still think the Chiefs can pose a lot of problems for Baltimore. I know everybody thinks they've completely transformed since the last meeting, but the only difference is they bolstered their secondary a bit and committed a bit more fully to the run.

Regardless of the final score, KC gave them a pretty sound beating (without Hill). Jackson couldn't complete a pass and the Chiefs' offense did virtually whatever it wanted to. Playing in Baltimore would be a big challenge, but if our offense gets back to the level it was at over the first month, KC is the most dangerous team.

Darnold was lighting up the improved secondary last night. I dont think Mahomes will have trouble and like you said we have Hill back this time.

It's really pretty simple at this point:

If we win one more game than the Pats, we get a bye.
If the Ravens lose both of their games and we win out, we get a bye.
Otherwise, we're 3-4.

Pats: @Bengals, Bills, Dolphins
Ravens: @Browns, Steelers

Actually we just have to tie the Pats. We dont have to win one more than them.

The West Is Not Enough

The coaches know it, the players know it. We were at the cusp last year. If we can stay healthy we can beat anyone in the playoffs. Be so nice to get the 2 seed but relying on Buffalo help us out is a fools bet. I’d rather come in as the 3 if we can’t get the 2 and then we would go back to NE and slay the dragon for good!

It could get a bit weird if either the Tits or the Texans win out and we drop a game. The Bills winning out would be interesting as well. But he outlined the most likely possible scenarios. Steelers are of no relevance to us from a seeding perspective. If they make the postseason, it can only be as the 5 or the 6.
