The Patrick Mahomes II Era begins with this game. May the Bolts fizzle and sputter as expected and may the New Chiefs begin their rise to greatness in dramatic fashion.

In lieu of a bunch of secret spoiler deals, I have composed a brief poetism in honor of the occasion. May it meet with your approval. Ahem ...

There once was a kid named Mahomes
Who had truly unique chromosomes
The Bolts were aghast
When the Chiefs scored so fast
And Mahomes incapacitated their ohms

Donk update, sadly Von is basically single handedly wrecking the Hawks offense, 2 sacks on one set of downs including a forced fumble. Seattles O line has been an embarrassment for years, Donks up 17-10

Pat's rating is 106.5 despite 50% completion rate and the drop from Watkins that would have been a big play. Cheetah Tyreek making huge plays to boost Pat. Good to see. But would like to see Kelce and Watkins do something in the second half.

Ok half by Mahomes. He needs to be more consistent and he needs to stop looking for the home run every time. Kelce should be getting open down low. Do should Kareem. Just hit them and pick up an easy 5-10 yards.

And he shouldn't have tried to stretch the play on that deep pass on the last drive. He wasted too much clock on that. Just inexperience so hopefully he'll learn from this.

I've already seen more potential and upside with Patty Cakes in one half than AS during his entire reign here albeit two or three brief moments of grandeur that falsely sucked me in.
