i'm thinking hard about adding more SOGO tomorrow. It was up 7% today.

As IQ is the Netflix of China, SOGO is the Google of China and is only $14 but it looks like it's the next stock people are finding out about and starting to flood to.

gonna research a little more tonight. It was up another 4.63% after hours giving it a 12% day.

I'm up 77% with IQ in just under 3 weeks. I was going to add some more earlier this week, but was worried about a pull back. Boy, was I wrong.


I bought a small amount of HUYA last week (less than $500), but I'm already up 50%.


I've got my eye on SOGO and JD.

Got 100 SOGO Tuesday at 12.72. Seeing lots of positive news on it. I'm selling my defense stocks , HRS,RTN, HEI as the North Korea Summit made these turn down. They act like we won't need defense anymore. LOL

The second largest search engine in China isn’t a bad call either.

While many investors wouldn’t bet on the No. 2 search engine in the U.S. — instead opting for Alphabet Inc (NASDAQ:GOOG, NASDAQ:GOOGL) — SOGO has solid potential too. Remember, China is much larger than the U.S.

Sogou has plenty of cash in the bank and no debt. It’s growing sales by more than 40% this year and is expected to grow them by more than 30% next year. Although these estimates may prove to be conservative. Sogou is also profitable.

Now back at its IPO price, SOGO is recovering nicely from its 2018 spill. The nice thing about Sogou stock? Its levels are easy to decipher. Be it $10, $11, $12, $13 (IPO), $14 (its closing highs) and $14.50 (its all-time highs). Just follow the path.

Probably foolish. Got lucky and caught the knife.

It was already so beat down, I wanted to see that next earnings report. Just a swing though. Can only keep up with so many companies. I think they are more of an AI play with advertising revenue. I don't think they've ever been #2 in search. In the past, QiHoo 360's search engine was quite a bit bigger. Dunno, maybe it's changed recently. I thought I'd seen something that Alibaba's Shenma was doing really well in mobile search

I know Sogou has that Tencent ownership/partnership which is crazy beneficial though.

You would think that it would run out of gas. Well, that's what I thought when IQ hit $30. Now it is near $40. I got HUYA when at $31, and now it's on the way towards $50.

It hit $50 today and I was regretting my trigger. It bounced to below what I sold for yesterday. Now I think it's in that bull trap phase. If I miss out, I miss out. It was a good 2 days.
