I think they wanted to get I the dl market but that shit got expensive

Then abandon the 3-4 front if you don't feel comfortable paying vital pieces market value. With how many 3 man rushes captain dumb **** likes to send, we need actual talent on our D Line, not bargain bin turds.

@RealMNchiefsfan: Reid and Hunt made it clear after the season that they viewed the defensive failure last season as a talent issue, not a Sutton issue. Sold out on that idea.

I'm not seeing the urgency in free agency to remedy that. Love Fuller and Hitchens, but that's not enough.

Over half of nfl defenses rushed 3 players and played zone like Sutton did. We saw it a lot vs Houston, like almost a quarter of the game. Teams are going to use the 3 man rush defense 90+% when it’s 3rd and goal on an obvious passing down bc more players+the endzone barrier=shorter field and tighter windows.

It would not shock anyone here if Veach simply waits to get a good deal bc Dorsey’s dumbass spent $8 million on Bennie Logan.

Give it time. Let’s see what happens.

Yeah Bennie Logan played 52% of the snaps last year, and a decent portion of it was as a DE in the nickel/dime.

Let the market drive the price down and sign a guy for a much cheaper deal. There will be players available.
