How epic would it be if Mahomes started next week and we ran the table to go 11-5
Ok I know this is a fantasy but if this happens and Mahomes runs the table, goes 11-5 and we win even a single playoff game....my bonerskin will be stretched and chafed like when i was a young lad

honestly it would be the best season of my life if that happened

If Reid were going to make a QB switch it will be the Raiders game at home. And this will really only happen if they lose to the Jets and Smiff looks putrid again.

The Loss will have the Chiefs tied in the division with the Raiders and the Chargers if they both win. The Raiders face the Giants and the Chargers play the Browns. So yea I think they are winning.

If the Chiefs are tied then that removes the "Well you don't make a QB change if you are leading the division" mantra that has been stated concerning removing Smiff.

Also the 3 home game stretch is The Raiders, The Chargers and the Dolphins. It is better to bring in Mahomes in a friendly environment then say the Jets at the Meadowlands.

If Smith shits the bed in the 1st half of the Jets game....then the perfect opportunity is to pull him at halftime and put Mahomes in. Then you give him the 1st team reps to get ready for the Raiders game.

Will stretch the field which forces the defense to stay back, and improves the run game by taking defenders out of the box, which also forces the defense to be less aggressive up front.

The protection is fine, it's a matter of looking for open receivers and then making an accurate throw. Mahomes has shown that he can do those basic maneuvers, Alex hasn't!

Listening to 610 this morning and they said they should stick with Alex Smith because making the switch to Mahomes is basically admitting to the team that you've given up on the Super Bowl. SUPER BOWL?!?! **** I just hope we can score a touchdown! This team isn't winning no god damn Super Bowl with Alex Smith. Will they with Mahomes? Maybe, maybe not. IMO we have a better chance with the rookie. And that's sad. Alex has had 5 years to get this thing done.
