In a game the Chiefs lost by six points, Alex Smith missed three wide open TDs

And yes he had a clean pocket on the second one.

When has this happened before...against the Steelers...in a crucial game....

Spoiler!

Flame away.

After 6 offensive possessions KC had negative yardage, scored 3 points and gave up 2 points. The three points that were scored were from a defensive turnover where the offense only moved the ball 4 yards.

As far as stopping the run it was one of the worst defensive performances I have ever seen. Offensive was equally bad the first-half. Again, lucky the gm was not a blowout.
You understand what happens when the offense has negative yards in a half and what that does to TOP?

Sure, they gave up a lot of yards. We lost the yardage scoreboard a lot to a little.

But they don't matter. If the offense does a thing in the first half the chiefs probably win

How is holding an opponent to under the league average for points allowed in a game "pretty damned bad?"

Ben and Brady don't miss wide open TDs/receivers like that multiple times in a game. YES THEY DO. TRY WATCHING SOME GAMES. BEN WAS JUST TRASHED LAST WEEK FOR THROWING 5 INT...HE WAS ALL OVER THE PLACE. Because they can actually read a defense. SO CAN ALEX...HE JUST DOESN'T THROW DOWNFIELD AS OFTEN

When Alex goes deep, 9 times out of 10 it's a predetermined read. 70% OF THE TIME, STATISTICS ARE MADE UP ON THE SPOT. That's why he threw that ill-advised pass to Hill. Tunnel vision.

Big Ben did a great job reading the Jaguars defense and hitting them 5 times for 2 TD's.

This. Full stop.

It's shocking that people who post here for years don't understand this simple concept..no 1st downs ....negative yardage and actually negative offensive points. The offense gave away 2 points in the 1st half, didn't score any on their own, no 1st downs, and somehow blame the D when they MIRACULOUSLY bent and didn't break and only allowed like 9 points.

The offense scores 8 points the whole game...has one good drive...

Defense allows only 17 points, despite zero help from the offense...gets the ball in the offenses hands 12 times, gets a pick, wins the turnover battle, and makes key stops including giving the ball back to the offense within one score...

And yet to these ass clowns the TOP problem , and the cause of the loss is the D

Utterly reeruned...

4th? Probably doesn't score but he's inside the 15 easy. A block and a move or two required for a TD.

I don't know if you've noticed, but Smith takes ****ing YEARS to be able to throw to a particular receiver.
