In a game the Chiefs lost by six points, Alex Smith missed three wide open TDs

And yes he had a clean pocket on the second one.

When has this happened before...against the Steelers...in a crucial game....

Spoiler!

Flame away.

But we weren't going to go undefeated, good to get it out of the way, and losing now but beating them in the playoffs is better than the other way around. Learn, grow, get stronger and it's all worth it

I'll explain it. The Alex haters can't see any fault that isn't Alex. Therefore they will ALWAYS blame the offense no matter how shitty the defense plays. They only see what they want to see.

There were also a couple key drops by kelce, stone hands and hill in the first half that would have made those first half stats look different

yeah and i think harris had a drop, and hill had one i think...plus harris got the ball ripped out of his hands in the end zone

not alex's fault

i even pointed that out in the game day thread too, there were some dropped catchable balls

some of them were bad passes ....hiigh , or off a little but pretty catchable

i wouldnt (and didnt) say alex was the root problem here..although he didnt have a great game ...he had some moments

You mentioned the offense, just like I said. Reading is fundamental.

Bell had 179 yards at 5.5 yards a carry. Don't talk about the defense doing anything "good"

They also shot themselves in the foot with penalties. It looked like a ****ing clown show in the first half on both O and D.

The only bad throw Smith has was the one to Robinson that was over his head. The one in the end zone is so hard when you are falling away and facing pressure. Romo summed it perfectly

I remember a lot of the same people bitching today predicting we would be 3-3 at this point at best. It shows it is just impossible to please some people, who actually seem to enjoy losing so they can say "I told you so!".
Wow, perhaps it's as much about how Andy's team played than anything. Today's first half was about the worst football we've seen, not only because of the play but because they couldn't fix it on the fly. Doesn't that mean anything to you? Andy can't beat physically tough and aggressive teams. We will probably see them again, and I'm sure they'll out muscle us, cheap shot us, hold us, and maul us, and won't get called for it. And we won't reciprocate.

The O-line are boys among men. And Houston in coverage should lead to Sutton's dismissal.

But you know as well as I do if we reciprocate we will get flagged. We had two guys go out with concussions today on helmet to helmet hits that weren't called. Do you think we would have gotten away with cheap shots like that?
