In a game the Chiefs lost by six points, Alex Smith missed three wide open TDs

And yes he had a clean pocket on the second one.

When has this happened before...against the Steelers...in a crucial game....

Spoiler!

Flame away.

Yep. Marty won alot of games that way until they got to the playoffs.

, You nailed that about Alex.

the bend not break worked...they punched themselves out....we had the chance to KO them

be honest dude
No offense punches itself out. What the **** are you talking about? This ain't The Rumble in the Jungle. Do you think offensive linemen get tired of streamrolling defenders and need a blow?

Is the defense somehow resting when it's on the field all day?

I don't know why they don't sell out vs bell and make ben beat them.

They did that more so in the 2nd half and it was nigh better

Haley has capped the Steelers production twice now. He is the reason points weren't scored.

It doesn't have to be a one or the other thing. Alex Smith overthrew way too many passes today and missed a couple balls he really needs to hit if he's going to win games. It's not good enough. He at least is still taking shots downfield though.

Any idea that the defense looked great out there is a bunch of horse crap though. They certainly got by, and credit to them for holding Pittsburgh to less points than they should have had... but Hamas said exactly what I said in the game thread. No defense is designed to give up 200 yards on the ground and not be able to stop the other team from milking the clock. We never felt in control of that game defensively, it was like a cat playing with a mouse.

This was a complete bed shitting by the Chiefs. No way this was ALL on Alex. And I'm not a Smith homo. But I can't get past the horrendous defense who couldn't stop anything, except scoring. Which is the most important thing of course, but it helps to give your offense as many opportunities as you can, and the Steelers controlled the LOS and the clock the whole game. The Chiefs sucked today. On to Oakland.

Bullshit. Alex and company didn't do enough to help the defense out all day.

You are an idiot. Patriots win most of their games anyway. I didn't say he couldn't win without him. Here are his stats without Gronk.

The hulking tight end has missed 19 games over his career. Tom Brady has started 17 of those games. And over a season’s worth of games, here is his statline:

Comp%: 57.3

Yards/attempts: 6.5

Rating: 82.4

Those numbers would rank 31st, 30th and 27th in the NFL this season, respectively.

This game is squarely on Alice. Other games hes been darn good. Pit knows how to handl him watch the rest of the League catch on. Maybe Mahomes time soon if we get 2-3 more games like this.

That's fair enough, but damn dude, over 200 goddam yards, mostly from the same asshole that ran all over our asses last year. Come on man, you honestly weren't frustrated as **** at our absent defense today?

I know you hate Alex, and I get it. But I still maintain this was a thorough bed shitting by the entire team. Alex sucked, OLine sucked, recievers sucked, fuggin defense was horrendous. Good punting though. So there's that.
