Ware injury not so bad?

By video, #Ware news seems to be better than #Edelman.
Good news: do not see ligament tear mechanism
Bad news: could be meniscus
Tyler Riordan @MrSportsTake

@ProFootballDoc Spencer Ware video. Just watch first angle, it's when he pushes off/cuts, right knee. Bent slight in. 2nd angle doesn't show

You'll find people on CP fixate on things that the announcers point out during games. Fouts mentioned the one play where Hunt missed a huge hole (mostly because he was following his ineffective blockers) and now "Hunt misses holes"

Happy but surprised.
I don't think you can go on the PUP if you have practiced in the preseason,

Nothing against Ware, but this could be a blessing in disguise.
Hunt is going to kill it.

That is correct. If he's going to be out for the first 6 weeks, they can stick him on IR and bring him back after week 6. The league is going to allow to bring back 2 players on IR this year. However, if he is only going to miss 2-3 weeks, then the team may just keep him on the roster and have him inactive until he's ready.

In my early 20s I tore meniscus in my knee, they removed the floating part (so my knee wouldn't lock, and I was walking (hobbling) a day later, walking a week later, and back to running in less than two weeks. I had full range of notion back within two months.

So, given that he's a pro athlete and has different standards to meet in terms of what being "ready to go" means, I'd venture a guess that he'll be itching to get back into games 4-5 weeks after surgery. The doctors and team might have a say in it too.

But every injury is different, I'm just gauging his deal based on mine, and they might actually be very different.

Hunt's vision IS his strength but he is still getting used to the speed of the NFL game. Holes come open quicker but close quicker along with developing patience to allow the hole to open up when going against an above average d-line. Young QB's go through the same learning curve in the passing game. EB will coach him up on this. Every game in the trenches for the o-line has a particular rhythm and tempo that the RB has to accurately read and feel so that both back and o-line are in sync.

All this.

He's still a rookie. His vision is good. His balance is excellent. He finishes runs like a pro.

That said he's going to have to adjust to a significantly higher level of competition. That doesn't happen overnight

It will, I think he'll be a very good HB for us, but it will take time...

And there is the blocking element...
