Alex Only Fans are definitely less frustrating with the addition of 2PM because the Alex era is ending in the near future.

And I worry that while this is happening, there'll be a 1,000 year stretch after the alien invasions where the Chiefs and the Broncos are the only teams left in the league.

It's based on draft potential. You don't trade up 17 spots in the first round for a guy you don't believe in. The conviction the Chiefs displayed on draft day is a good reason along with videos of him and scouting reviews. What's there not to like about his potential being a Super Star in this league for the Chiefs for a long time?

Is it hope is it hype? Combination of both but I'm cool with that. Is there a chance he sucks sure as in all draft picks but there is a good chance he excels in the league and that's what I'm going for.

The video is as much about Smith holding him back as anything.

I'd say a Brett Favre type performance would be a huge step up from Alex Smith.

I have a fantasy football draft tomorrow night and I'm trying to figure out if I want to draft Tyreek even though I already have Kelce as a keeper... Alex being the QB is an obvious setback and idk if i trust having two guys from an Alex offense even if they are elite talents at their positions.

However, I do want the opportunity to keep Tyreek for next year when Mahomes comes back because I think he has an unlimited ceiling with Pat back there.

Thoughts anyone?

Seriously. Even if you lose the Super Bowl, you at least won the conference.

Says anyone not from Atlanta, anyway.

I'm not a ff player much but I think having Tyreek will payoff once PMII takes the field and even this year he will get a bone from Alex Smith because Alex Smith will be fighting all season to keep his job.

I hate the Favre comparison. Peyton Manning is the most clutch QB in history compared to Favre.

You gotta stop saying this. Alex won't be fighting to keep his job this season. Barring injury Alex will and should be the starting QB all season.

Alex Smith is all ready feeling the heat of the Chiefs drafting his replacement. He knows he has to play above his means this year even to audition for his next team for the following year. The better Patrick looks in practice and preseason and the more Alex Smith is going have to prove his worth this year. Don't kid yourself the change can't happen this year. You maybe absolutely right also but nobody can say for sure what how this year story is going be played out because it has yet to be written. Even if it's a slim chance there is a chance Patrick hits the field the coaches have never said he wont. It's ideal yes for Patrick to sit a year while Alex Smith takes us to the playoffs but that doesn't mean it's going play out that way. So I can say Alex Smith is going be fighting for his job all season and he knows it.

The pressure is on Alex Smith not Patrick Mahomes II this year.
