Hunt is a small town back with HUGE upside. His balance and patience as a runner are uncanny.

Don't be shocked when in a year or two he's the next Charles-level break out player...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

They compare him to Emmitt Smith. Not as fast as Charles but his cuts and vision is rare

I don't view him as small because he's 5'10, 216.

That's about the same size as Emmitt Smith, Priest Holmes, James Brooks and other extremely successful NFL running backs.

Danny Woodhead is small.

He and Charles are completely different backs.

Hunt is a ****ing bowling pin at the state fair you just can't knock down. He bounces off tacklers.

He's a ****ing strange guy. His speed after two steps is his top speed but you can hit him and make him juke and he's still traveling at that 30mph.

Charles is that burner that can hit 120. Hunt is topped out at about Ford-festiva-60 but his cornering and handling make the difference.

That said he's a ****ing pinball.

IMHO he's an undersized Tomlinson. That's exactly the running style he reminds me of...

The NFL is moving toward the Bell (I told you ****ers he was a freak!) model at HB.

They want big bodies and are less worried about top end speed...

Like whom?

I get that Elliott and Fournette are bigger guys, but they're bigger guys with a metric ****ton of talent.

Those guys are very rare.

The Marshall Faulk, Priest Holmes, Emmitt Smith, James Brooks size of player will always find success in the NFL because they're difficult to tackle due to their low center of gravity.

The NFL knows the HB position is temporary. It's why they're looking for Carlos Hyde/Gurley/Bell/Nette/Elliott, etc.

When he's done Bong-loving-Bell will be a HOF HB.

I don't know if that's what teams are "looking for", more so than guys that fit that mold having success in college.

Anyone with two eyes could see that Gurney, Elliott and Fournette were going Top 10 in the NFL because they were so successful in college (although Fournette's weight could be his downfall).

If teams were actually "looking for" that type of player, David Johnson wouldn't have lasted until the 3rd round and Bruce Arians wouldn't have waited until his Top Two backs on the depth chart were injured before playing Johnson.

Seems like every other position got bigger but that remains to me kind of ideal size for a back for years.
I like those guys better than big backs.
