Yay. Until he hits the regular season and continues his streak of 180 yards, 1 TD and relying on the defense.

Can't wait for Demarcus Robinson to look like Frankie Hammond and ball the **** out during preseason when Bray and Stave are throwing him rainbow TD passes!

You. Don't. ****ing. Know. When. Mahomes. Will. Be. Ready.

Get that through your fat ****ing skull, you ****ing idiot.

You know nothing about the kid. Quit acting like you do.

It MIGHT be two years. It MIGHT not.

Co****ingsign!!!

No one has any idea. He could be ready tomorrow. He could be ready in a year. He could be ready in two years. He could never be ready.

It's funny that only Alex Smith fans claim to know when he will be ready. It's a joke.

from a business and salary cap standpoint, I can give you 17 million reasons and cap relief why Mahomes will be ready in a year.

I just cant wait for our starting QB to be on a rookie contract it gives you so much flexibility to go all in and stack the rest of your roster. Cant wait to do what the Raiders are doing, yea it catches up to you, but it does give you a window. Much better than being locked into 17-20 million dollar QB that deep down you know cant get it done. That goes for every team in that spot not just the Chiefs

You do understand the Chiefs can shift dead cap into the following year?
And complimenting the raiders? You do realize how tight their cap gets after this year, right?

The Chiefs aren't going to create a problem by shifting dead money into 2019. One of the purposes of drafting a QB early is $$. We aren't wasting it on ****ing Alex.

Do you check shit before you just spew it? Yes, they have to give Mack and Carr new deals, but they can also dump the following players with ZERO dead money.

Kelechi Osemele - $10.2M
Sean Smith - $8.5M
Rodney Hudson - $8.35M
Bruce Irvin - $8.25M
Michael Crabtree - $7.75M
Marshawn Lynch - $6M
David Amerson - $6M
Jared Cook - $5.3M
Cordarrelle Patterson - $3.25M

1. I never said they were going to cut all of those players.
2. There is this crazy thing called the draft. They've already replaced Smith with Conley. I could totally see the Raiders cutting Smith, Lynch, Cook and Patterson. That's $23 million in cap space that they get back and it wouldn't be super hard to replace those positions.

They have one of the best GM's in the NFL. They'll be fine. The point is you were vastly overstating the Raiders cap "issues" especially in comparison to what the Chiefs are going to have pretty quick here.

I don't know how the Raiders will replace those guys, but to your point, Dorsey will certainly have no problem with it.

McKenzie is solid, but he's not Dorsey.
