I believe NE is beatable, especially given they traded their best defensive players and the Chiefs best is yet to return.

This is a 12 win team, minimum.

Anyone else think it's odd that they continue to list Ehinger on the injury report as if he is just missing practices? They still haven't placed him on IR.

Must be planning to do it whenever Houston is ready to roll.

Whoever is taking care of the Chiefs website is slow as ****. You always get the news somewhere else before it's on the Chiefs site.

I want them and Pittsburgh with a somewhat healthy roster. Haven't had that in the playoffs. Someone ALWAYS gets hurt. Get Houston back, Gaines to stay healthy and have the full compliment of offensive players and bring it on.

Honestly dude (or Elizabeth, if that's you), I think you would understand it a little better if you weren't so used to interfacing with 49ers fans...they are a fan base that has been pretty spoiled in the semi-recent past in terms of their team's success. Whenever I hear a 49ers fan belly-aching over something, I become annoyed and think to myself, "you don't even know what pain is when it comes to your teams' woes, you spoiled brats."

There are a lot of "blind homer" Chiefs fans out there (and they are a freaking problem, considering some of the shitstorms that have arisen over the years). This is no surprise...every fanbase has them. However, there is a group of Chiefs fans who are annoyed to the point where they've reached the end of their rope and are skeptical of the moves they make...and for good reason. Many things seem like a repeat of something that didn't end well, which gives us the "well, we've experienced this played out story many times before...and we know how it ends" apathetic vibe.

Let me ask you a few questions and if you see where I am going with it, maybe you will be somewhat capable of understanding why certain Chiefs fans come off the way they do. Why is the year 1970 significant? Who is Todd Blackledge and how does he tie in to the Chiefs? Who is Lin Elliott? What was the no-punt game? Why do we hate the Colts so much? What happened to our star QB the last time we made the AFC Championship? Who did we lose to in the playoffs in 1997 and why did that suck so badly? What was the Grbac vs. Gannon controversy and how did it end? How did it feel to root for a team that had Herm Edwards as their HC? How did it feel watching an expensive, yet unproven Matt Cassel play QB for us for 3.5 seasons because he was more or less shoved down our throats?? Did you know that in 2012 there was a team that finished 2-14, flew banners over the stadium on gamedays requesting the benching of the QB and firing of our GM, had a starter who shot and killed his girlfriend and then offed himself in the parking lot where this team plays in front of the GM and HC....in which despite the fact that this coach/GM saw this, they were still awful enough to be fired? Did you know that team was the Kansas City Chiefs?

I don't know, try answering some of those questions and think about how it would feel to experience all of it and then you may have a better understanding as to why some Chiefs fans are the way they are.

Oh they know about 2-14 because it vindicates their bandwagon bullshit.

"lol y wood ne1 root for a 2-14 team lol?"

These fools have no concept of what being a Chiefs' fan was like prior to March 1 2013.
