Is it time to start Foles over Smith?

Pathetic.

He's played poorly today

Thoughts?

What? So the 49ers fan base consists of people that only live in the Bay Area?

Come on, man. That's silly.

And yes, all of them are "die hards" and go to the games as well.

Subjective gerunds generally aren't true or false.

itching? grousing? grumbling? half-heartedly whining?

My sense is 'clamoring' was used for rhetorical emphasis, not as a doctoral thesis.

I live smack dab in the Bay Area as well and I'm telling you the majority doesn't give a crap about Alex the fan base went with his growing pains before Harb and seeing an explosive offense under kap was well worth the risk for most niner fans

49er fans would have burned the god damn stadium down if Kap didn't get the starting job the following year. Even with hindsight it was the right move.

they come 500 miles for the games?

I dunno maybe the hollywood types just like Alex alot...like sandy cheeks, Tiger Uppercut, Mav kindof people...

The people I live near and work with -- white collar, blue collar , sports bars, on the street...at work....at dinner,,,...everyone...they all laugh at alex smith and rib me about it ....literally no one I talk to has mentioned any desire to have him back recently...

I hear more people wishing Tomsula was still the coach..and I am not making that up. People obviously get that the team is in transition right now but LITERALLY no one is currently clamoring for alex smith thinking he could/should be apart of the transition. Period.

I live in the central val... it's 50/50 on having alex back. Salty memories for many.. better option than Kap or Gabby. We all miss a stable condition at QB..

Sure man, it's an hour flight! No reason to drive 500 miles (BTW, I hate that drive).

I said last year that some of my 49er friends thought that Tomsoula would be better than Harbaugh and people thought I was making it up.

Again, fans are often dumb.

The stupidity of those fans are embarrassing. Tomsula couldn't even have himself a coherent press conference.. let alone lead a group of men or game plan competently

Looks like Foles could have had a third TD pass against the Colts. Clean up in film study and hit it next week, buddy.

The airfare has dropped a bit, too. $149 from Sac to Burbank, RT.

I wish it would get back to $99 but I'll take it at $149.

Tomsula was a part of the game planning for the 49ers when they were a decent defensive unit.
