Well, I'm officially a mom!
Thursday, at my OB appointment, I discovered that I had pre-eclampsia, which is not good. Friday, I found out that it was bad enough that I was to be induced on Saturday. So, my little man came into the world a little over three weeks early.

Saturday, at 7:30am, the induction started. At 1:16 Sunday morning, he finally entered the world. Needless to say, it was a very long day, but totally worth it.

Isaac Louis was born at 1:16am on March 6, 2016 weighing in at 6 lbs 3 oz and measuring 19 inches long. Spent some time in the nursery getting his blood sugar level up and stable, as well as monitoring his lungs. All is well, except for a little jaundice, which we're hoping clears up in a few days. Both momma and baby are doing well.

Congrats. You now have a new center of the universe. Can also be an anchor if you let him You are now journeying into the new un-known. A new stage in life for you and of course your son. It is filled with wonder, excitement, joy and its' share of heart ache (teenagers).

Enjoy/appreciate each stage. Each stage/age is different with the good and the bad. Try not to focus on the bad (until they are teenagers )

Lastly, my grandpa said the best and only thing that can not be taken away from you or your son through the years is the TIME you spend with them. It goes by very quickly.

Enjoy all of it.

Did I mention teenagers...plant the good seeds now until aged 14.5135, then be prepared for the tsunami! Have a blast.

Actually I am jealous. I would like to do it all over again, even the hard years. Mine: daughter 19 in college (I gained 50 IQ pts in the last year), son 17 (I am still dumber then a box of rocks)
