This isn't about the national championship. The Big 12 can't even figure out who their conference champion is, and Baylor...is going all Baylor. I'm sure they'll find somebody to sue.

He's basically doing the type of work a recruiting coordinator does right now. He's angling for that job.

Have heard that from a Missouri source and Ohio sources as well.

Can you tell us more about Ohio State and Mizzou recruiting? It's fascinating shit.

So, Mizzou is +14.5 which is about where Sagarins model pegs it. "He's an idiot!" - Saul Good in all his glory. In all his splendor.

I am not sure whether or not to take you seriously. I follow recruiting pretty heavily, and most often when I talk with someone who doesn't know a ton, but knows enough to get in trouble they use the term "source" all the time. I don't have deep connections with the staff, but I have multiple players sources in the program, and I have some ins with the coordinators. All that to be said, I have 0 "sources" who have even rumbled about that, you may be right, but I am curious if you actually have a real source, or if its another "I read online".

Glad to see that Arkansas and Mizzou are better than Florida State. Auburn and Georgia are still top 7. Texas A&M and Florida are both above Arizona and Arizona State. Ole Miss is the second best team in the country.

Sagarin nails it again.

His playoff as of today would be:

Alabama
Ole Miss
TCU
Mississippi State

An 8 team playoff would include 5 SEC teams.

All hail Sagarin.

Oh, good! you're back!

Do you believe Sagarin is an accurate indicator of the strength of college football teams?

The Chiefs have 1 championship the Cornhuskers have 5

Chiefs fans celebrate 9 wins the Huskers fire their coach with 9 wins

Says the fan of a team who's last championship was 1938 but like the Chiefs will also miss the playoffs this year

UAB shutting down football program
Updated: December 2, 2014, 12:31 PM ET
ESPN.com news services

UAB has shut down its football program, a source told ESPN's Joe Schad on Tuesday.

School officials had said they were evaluating the viability of UAB football, and coach Bill Clark told ESPN.com on Sunday that he expected the school to end a program that has struggled financially.

UAB finished 6-6 this season and is eligible to play in a bowl game should the Blazers get an invitation. Players will meet later Tuesday to decide if they want to play should a bowl berth be extended.

Playing in the shadows of Alabama and Auburn and lacking an on-campus stadium, UAB has struggled to develop a fan base and consistent attendance in the nearly two decades since it joined the Football Bowl Subdivision.

Average attendance doubled this year under Clark to more than 20,000 fans per game, but reports circulated that administrators might kill the program even as the Blazers compiled their best record in a decade.

Eliminating football would jeopardize UAB's membership in Conference USA and associated programs including the school's marching band. Members of the band and cheerleaders joined in the protest at the administrative offices on Monday.

The last FBS school to eliminate football was Pacific in 1995.
