That leaves Manning and Ward, and it's not like Ward is lighting the league on fire with his play.

I get your defense, but there's just nothing to defend. It's pro football. It's a mercenary sport. The Broncos buy talent year after year? Great! Buy more! The Chiefs aren't as good at that aspect of the game? Tough shit, Tuck, suck my man pussy, because that's a big part of the game today.

I am not arguing whether or not its a big part of the game or not. Of course it is and good teams use it to spot fill. Denver uses it to make a team and it doesn't work to win the SB. If it did then you guys would have won it the last two years but you didn't and probably won't this year either.

Get past your bought FA's and Elway has made a shit roster that will be in tbe crapper when Manning turns 40 and walks.

Oh, I agree his point is nonsensical.

However, if he's nonsensical and wrong, that's even better.

Name Elways draft picks. Tell me they are shit. I'm sorry your team's drought has driven you insane, I really am. As a whole your fan base deserves better...

Don't have to name them all. If they weren't shit he would not have signed an entire team in the off season.

Just tell that me the Donkeys will win it all and stand by it. Don't puss out and say it could go either way bullshit. Guarantee it if the Denver way is the right way. Come on, lets hear it.

When teams stick with your philosophy, they run out a WR group like what you have now. Every team has the same salary cap and an equal opportunity to spend that $ on drafted players and a mix of FA players.

Your bitter that your team isn't as good at either as others, I get it.

Here is a list of Denver's starters - and which team drafted them:
http://www.pro-football-reference.co...014_roster.htm

Of 22 starters, Denver drafted 11... solid balance.

Here is a list for KC's starters -
http://www.pro-football-reference.co...014_roster.htm

Enjoy.

So, 31 teams are completely wrong in their philosophy every year?

There's no one way to build a champion. Sure, you'd love to just draft them like Green Bay has done with their starters, but you're building a team and you have two paths to take.

Denver won their two titles in the 90s when they hit FA hard, as well as circumventing the cap with deferred compensation, greasy jerseys, hush money to the refs, etc... so lots of things factor in it.

I guess so. The Donkey loving troll said so. Everyone should just sign a Peyton Manning every year and ignore the draft and development of players that Elway has failed to do.

Are you actually suggesting that the Chiefs tried to buy a SB based on those lists? Our cap was maxed because of our own great draft picks not from FA spending. You guys are trying buy the SB because your drafting has not been good enough and Manning is limited in his playmaking ability and must have the best he can get or he won't get there. His limited ability is why you lost to the Seahawks the last two times.

Tom Brady is better than Manning. He can win without pro bowlers on his offense.

At least he doesn't fall down in the fetal position like a bitch when he's about to get sacked.
