2014-2015 NBA off-season Lebron goes home thread.

I will update this when the schedule is announced in a couple of weeks, but I will open with the new uniforms for the Charlotte Hornets below.

what else would we talk about other than the Cavs? Are any other teams doing anything interesting of note right now? Should we talk about the Lakers head coaching search?

The Heat used Birdman and Udonis Haslem when they were good. Haslem wasn't much of a factor in 2013-2014 and it showed big time. But to go with your story, if you brought in an excellent Center to replace Bosh, I would bet you the Heat still have a great run.

You keep trying to compare the Cavs to the big 3. It's not the same. Wade, Bosh, Lebron, Haslem took a combined $12M or so in "hometown" discounts to be on that team. So far, it looks like Kyrie, Lebron, and Love will all max out. The Heat with the Big 3 were a very solid defensive team. The new Cavs Big 3 will be very suspect on defense. The Heat had a playoff team before the big 3 joined. The Cavs had one of the worst teams in basketball. And the talent the Heat lost is probably going to be far less valuable than the Cavs are being asked to lose. And Lebron at 29 has a lot more tread on his tires -- I don't think anyone wants him to again be in a scenario where he's playing 40+ minutes a night again. That has to start slowing down.

And again, what I've spoken to is a max contract guy (e.g. Gasol) would help the team more than Love would. But if not max contract, a mid-level contract rim protector would provide huge benefit to the team while giving the Cavs tremendous cap flexibility and opportunity to keep their depth.

Wiggins is expected to sign his contract this week. Can't be traded for 30 days after signing it.

You can expect him to hit 3
s. He is a dynamic shooter.

Hes not a defender, he is not a ball handler. he shoots. And with Westbrook, reggie Jackson, and Durant, all penetrating and kicking, hes going to make a LOT of them.

good steal for the thunder.

Rustshack is trying to destroy this thread. He needs his own Cavs one so he can post his homer bullshit there where nobody has to see it.

can someone explain to me how he's an Iowa State fan, a Cavs fan, and a Chiefs fan? I'm not sure I get it.

did he participate in any NBA forum talk this year as a Cavs fan pre-Lebron?

It's funny that no one minded me until they knew Iowa State and Cleveland were relevant in basketball.

I have a hard time understanding how Iowa State is relevant in basketball when they haven't won a conference title in ... how many years?

Also, I need to know how many Cavs posts you've had on this board for the last 3 years, ballpark, before I can even consider you a Cavs fan and not just a LeBron fanboy.
