Here's a random thing

http://static.nfl.com/static/content...0000347146.pdf

Now granted this is basically a Seahawks PR thing, but it does list some interesting details about the Chiefs within.

TL;DR summary:
-The Chiefs are about average when it comes to giving UDFA's a chance to play in the pre-season.

-They have a hard time admitting they made stupid ****ing draft picks and hold onto them for too long.

-The Chiefs were dead last at having their own players released from pre-season rosters being claimed off the waivers. They were also near the bottom when it came to acquiring rookies from other rosters.

The last bullet speaks largely to the Pioli regime's abject failures in talent acquisition.

This portion should be obvious since they were dead last in the league previously. A team void of talented depth doesn't have a lot of scraps worthy of reuse.

After the Belcher incident and the other bs that went on in 2012, who would want the scraps of that team knowing the baggage that comes along with them.
