Boo.
Your last one was better. Our first two pics, in no particular order, should address the secondary, and be the best pass rusher available... This offense just put up 40+ points on the road without its best player. The defense needs more help...

Six Pro Bowl players? Five first round draft choices? There isn't many teams in the league that have that much "help." |

McGill - Good enough speed to run with most receivers on deep routes, uses his length well in pass defense. Lacks elite quickness to be a true shut down corner as he will struggle against quicker players on double moves or outs in a man coverage scheme. Against the run game, McGill does not display the effort or tenacity to fight through blocks and is often easily blocked out of a play by much smaller receivers; it's not unusual to see a much smaller player lock onto McGill and take him out of the play. He is definitely better in off coverage and has poor press technique, which is the reason why most teams see him as a FS. I see him as a better fit there as well, just from watching his style of play. The other problem I have with him is that he isn't really tough and has medical red flags; I would expect that of a smaller player, not someone who is 6'3" and 216 pounds. I wouldn't spend anything earlier than a 4th on McGill because of these factors. SJB - Good quickness and fluidity for his size, good ball skills, much more physical than McGill, and has a strong punch in press coverage. His issue is that if a WR has decent speed and gets a step on him, it's over; SJB lacks the recovery speed to get back into the play. He reminds me a lot of Sean Smith and I'd rather have someone who has more speed to their game than our current starters do. I'd prefer Jason Verrett over both of them. |

10. The Chiefs sign OT Ryan Harris (Texans) to a 1 year, $2m deal.
???? Have you ever seen this stiff play????? This dude can't get out of his own way. You're way off with this one but on target with the rest IMO, EXCEPT with your position on DEX.

What's your solution to getting this defense playing at a level that can hold a goddamn 28 point lead in less than 2 quarters of football?

![]() Anyway You think this defense is fine....? One side of the ball scored 40+ points with a new QB and missing their best player. The other side of the ball gave up 40+ points with the same core of "pro bowl players" that have been around for the last 4 years.... Yeah why waste another 1st rnd pick on the defense. They are fiiiiiiiiine.

Our defense needs a vocal leader with an attitude that infects. And depth.
We also need depth. But we need depth everywhere. And more depth. |
