The first one down sure looked like broken the second undetermined but most likely. They both were coming in hot.

Ouch! From what I can see, the first guy waited to long to flare his toggles. The second guy looked like he got some kind of wind whip, that one was hard to tell. His left hand was also flailing around when he was trying to toggle.

Ow.

And that’s why I don’t jump out of a perfectly good airplane.

I think the high wind was ****ing with them badly. Gusty wind followed by an "ungust" and you lose lift and combine all your vertebrae into one.

Speaking as a former navigator that did tons of personnel airdrops I'd say it's hard to tell from the short video, but it did look like winds were pretty strong. I doubt they would have let those guys make that jump if they weren't very experienced, so they should have known what they were doing. They also have the final say on whether they're going to make the jump or not. The fact that at least two appeared to get hurt is also pretty damning.

These guys all effed up. One dude ended up iin a port-a-John.
