- Became a Chiefs fan while attending CMSU in Warrensburg in 1989. Same time everyone in my dorm was talking up this great LB named Derrick Thomas out of Alabama the Chiefs have drafted with top pick. Met DT in 1992 & turned into an avid fan since.
