I mentioned it in another thread, but thinking through what optimism remains (not that they deserve any right now), it really comes down to whether Mahomes can get out of his own way and stop being his own worst enemy, like today.

Playoff Mahomes can hide so much of the shit... and most other playoff teams currently have their own shit they need to hide (without a Mahomes to hide it for them).

I don’t really think it’s possible but the OL is going to have to start doing something for this to even be a daydream.

They’re flat out terrible and Mahomes has no time to be dialed in. He never gets a damn chance to actually cook.

If we lose out, we need both the Broncos and the Raiders to lose one (meaning the team that wins their game in week 18 has to lose the previous week).

If we win one of the last 2 games, we win the division.

Because we just lost to a QB who did not complete a pass in the last 3 quarters at home.

Ah, prisoner of the moment argument, gotcha.

Like I said though, it didn't have anything to do with the Chiefs as they certainly don't deserve any optimism at this point, outside of maybe the defense keeping the dumpster fire of an offense in games as they have all season (thus, questioning the skull ****ing).

We might end up seeing some of the worst football ever in the CGs and SB this year, so many teams have major problems.... can't wait.....
