Good luck finding a starting tackle with one of the last picks in the first rd and no other additional assets to help you move up.

I hated the Skyy pick so you may be right. But no way in hell Puka is more talented than Rashee Rice.

One is getting an opportunity to show his skill, the other isn't.

They have the mindset that they have to ease young WR's in. I'd love to know why that is the case here and not in other organizations.

I keep using Nacua as a comp, for obvious reasons. McVay's offense is complicated too. You're telling me he's more talented than Rashee Rice?

I don't buy it. Give the kid more than 12 snaps a game and let him show you why you took him in R2.
Reid isn't going to dumb things down to get young players touches. I get it that it is frustrating to see other 1st and 2nd round receivers get 8-14 targets a game and put up big numbers, but that's just not the way Reid approaches the game. In the end, we have three Super Bowl trips in the last few years, and those other teams don't.

It seems alot of this is coming from guys who hated the Skyy pick or the Toney pick up etc...

Yes, they're gonna have to trade up pretty good to get a LT

Pretty solid improvement from week 1 to 2.

The Rams aren't in a SB window. They're rebuilding.

I've always been a "get them out there and play them guy" but Andy has his ways he does this, usually leads to success.

I'm not asking them to dumb things down, but I have a hard time believing Andy has the only challenging book to learn in the league.

We have those SB trips because we weren't relying on an entire room of WR's at the same time. There was always someone there to count on, to step up and produce when teams tried to shut Kelce down.

Who is that person right now?

Toney? Not healthy.

MVS? LOL

Watson? LOL

Again, I love that we're taking shots in the draft, but if you're going to make things so difficult it takes three years to understand things, you have to supplement the room with guys you can count on while being patient with the young guys.

When you get the chance you can watch it. I quoted pretty much what Veach said.

We have seen this since Reid has been here that young WR's don't get going until mid season or later, that includes Hill.

And I would probably add I bet this offense has way more variance when it comes to route running than when AS was QB. You better be in sync with what Mahomes is seeing.

I know I’m sounding like a broken record. But it feels to me that this year we pivoted to guys who support kelce to now finding guys we want to compete for WR1 and WR2. Mecole was a speed guy. Skyy felt more like a catch and run slot guy. Role players in that offense are safe, easier to find, and can very valuable. But that mentality needs to shift.

Rashee feels like a new direction for us and it’s one I’m excited about. And I hope it doesn’t stop there. If we don’t want to spend money on WRs then keep at it in the draft even if you feel “comfortable” with your WR room.

We ARE in a SB window, AND we're rebuilding our WR room.

Seem to be playing with fire hoping we can skate by relying on Watson until January and then hope Rice picked up enough to make a difference.

Well....yeah. We've been in a SB window for 6 years. The league is setup for that not to happen, yet here we are.

Once they traded Tyreek, this was the route it was always gonna go.

MVS and his 2 catches a game?

Sadly, it's pretty obvious that Patrick trusts Watson more than anyone else in the room right now and it seems pretty obvious that Patrick is frustrated by it.

They've rebuilt an entire OL in an offseason.....went to the AFC championship game.

Rebuilt an entire secondary....Won a SB

Maybe this is the one that doesn't work out, I dunno. Seems a little shortsighted to not have confidence that it will work out.
