Yeah...it'll be Tom Brady. You can't get around it.

I mean ultimately most late 1st rounders don't amount to a damn thing anyway but lord, at least TRY.

The Lakers should be picking mid-first round, which is Michael Porter Jr. territory. Not sure I'd want to just toss that away.

So wait, he will need HOF players around him to win? I swear someone else was accused of winning only because he had elite talent around him.

Just sign him as free agent and let him sit on the bench like Thanasis Antetokounmpo and take up space.

I'm not a Brady hater. He's certainly had an amazing career. If somebody can play at Brady's level when he is 43 it might well be Mahome's but agree the odds are against him

Sure, I realize it's a results driven narrative just like the argument over LeBron and his titles.

But Mahomes, given what he had to work, actually had a good game. Actually, it was amazing he delivered as many passes without getting killed as he did. That SB certainly wasn't a reflection of who the better QB was. It was a reflection of a pro bowl pass rush going up against a backup OL.

Why would you think it would be Mahomes? I would think it would be the opposite. Mahomes relies on his athletic ability to shake defenders in the pocket and he already has a dad bod and he isn't even 30. He reminds me of a more athletic Ben Roethlisberger. I don't think Mahomes will age as gracefully as the unathletic pocket passer who don't rely on physical attributes like Brady, Peyton Manning, etc

I said a more athletic Big Ben. Mahomes is quicker & more agile but Roethlisberger was faster. Ben ran the 40 in 4.75 and Mahomes was 4.80. Younger Big Ben also was routinely making off schedule throws out of the pocket using his legs. You just saw a shell of himself later in his career when he didn't have the same mobility.

Big Ben was a fat **** for much of his career and not even remotely comparable to Mahomes physically, moron.
