Yup. Earlier today at around 11 I was looking around at 0DTE spy calls in the 540 range, all were going for .01 cents. I thought about tossing 20 bucks at one but didn't feel like losing 20 bucks. Calls went batshit crazy later and those same calls ended up over 4 dollars each. Some people made damn good money off 0DTE's today.

That's more than likely the case. The spread on buy/ask has been pretty crazy the past few days. I'm reading about everyone making bank today, but not a lot from the people that got their shit wrecked.
