The Seattle Seahawks were considering drafting Mahomes (if he was there) even though they have Russell Wilson.
Last year they traded out of their pick that was used to draft Lynch |

You stupid ****, the Chiefs had no interest in Lynch. I've told you that they baited Denver into pissing a pick away. When they saw a real QB they took action and got him.

Apparently Rodgers was dreadful his first couple years in GB and had a long ways to go. With Carr, some teams were spooked because of his brother. Yes, QB's with major flaws can turn into very good QB's, but you shouldn't draft them in the top 10. Mahomes was a reach. |

A lot of the teams that passed on him already had a QB. The Rams, Eagles, Chargers, Cowboys, Ravens, Titans, Giants, Bucs, Saints, Dolphins, Raiders, Lions, Falcons, Colts, Bills (just gave Tyrod an extension), Texans (just signed Brock), Redskins, Vikings, Seahawks, and Steelers had no reason to draft Lynch.
The only teams that should've considered him were the 49ers at 7, the Bears at 10, the Browns at 15, and the Jets at 20. |

Semen has had an AWFUL camp yet is still slated to start over Pickston. That tells you all you need to know. Meanwhile Mahomes looks amazing. Sucks for you.

So the same teams that passed on Mahomes also passed on Lynch. Chargers, Bengals, Titans, Jags (who apparently believe in Bortles right now) and Panthers all have their QB's. Bottom line: Mahomes went 10th. Lynch lasted almost 3X as many picks. The end. |

Lynch wouldn't have gone in the 1st round if it wasn't for a desperate Denver team
