Any Bourbon drinkers out there?

I've heard some good things about Buffalo Trace Bourbon.
http://www.buffalotrace.com/

Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.

Thanks

Had one of the email lists I'm on say he has 3 or 4 bottles of each of the pappy's.

500 for the 10 year, 650 for the 12, 1300 for the 15 and 2k for the 20

I'm not interested but I can probably ship it to anyone here if you want some.

Gotta love how stores will rip people off due to allotments. At that price a guy is better off buying several bottles of Blantons, McKenna 10 year and Eagle Rare.

People are willing to pay up for that stuff. Guessing it is people that either have money to blow to impress their friends and people that have never tried the stuff. If they did they would know it is not worth that price per ounce based on taste.

That being said good on you for trying to help guys out get the stuff if they wanted it.

I don't mind paying a little bit more but for those prices, nah. If I were to ever spend at that level, i'd want like a 25 year macallan or something.

Give me Blantons or woodford for like a tenth of that price.

I got some Blantons from this guy as well, it's good stuff man. And only like 60 bucks.

But there are guys who just have money. There are dudes that I play golf with that would but 3 or 4 bottles of that and not bat an eye.

I'll stick with my old charter lol.

Can you buy Blanton’s in KC? It has been really hard to find in Joplin over the past year.
