Path of Exile II Releases in Early Access tomorrow, December 6th, 2024. The price to get in is $30 for early access, but the game will be free if you wait for the official release (approximately 6 months to 1 year from now).

The game will feature 12 classes, with 3 subclasses each, for 36 unique playstyles. The early access will only feature 12 subclasses from 6 classes to start and will slowly add more until the full release. The 12 subclasses will be posted in the next post.

3.26 out in June... allegedly, until they delay it again because PoE2 just isnt a fun game and for whatever reason they act like its a full release and make it priority.

Mark seems passionate about PoE1. Just need Mark and Jonathan to split. Then Mark can get a team together to dev PoE1 and Jonathan can bask in the mostly negative feedback of his vision.

ya Mark seems solid and he should do that. I don't want POE1 to die, I'd rather play new POE1 leagues than POE2 tbh.

I know, I would try that if it came to PS5.

I have a really hard time getting into anything new these days though. Maybe I'm a creature of habit now with games

Fair enough, you would be wise to head back to POE1 then until this mess gets rightly sorted. It's just not even fun now, especially slogging back through the campaign so slowly.

once you get over the hump it's more enjoyable for me. Today's patch is a step in the right direction. I'm going pretty slow but my gas arrow build is starting to pop off. I thought about playing some standard in POE1 but nah lol

They still went the wrong way bigly, I'll wait and hope they lose the Souls like crap otherwise it's just a waste of life for me.

Went from over 300k a couple of days ago down to 105k last I looked. Also I hear Chinese bots take up about 50-75k of the population on pc anyway

I don't know if it's the same for POE2 but in POE1 China's path of exile is a drastically different game and had pay to win stuff in it. Like pets that auto pick up loot for you, an auction house and other stuff that made US players jealous lol.

But ya, there are a crazy amount of bots still. If you price something valuable too cheap you get spammed by those bots.

Unfortunately, there is nothing to head back to PoE1 for. The Phrecia event is ending in a couple weeks and with a lack of atlas tree you wont get any progression done because it takes a lot of currency to set up even a basic idol farm and you probably cant find enough idols on the market to even do it at this point.

There might be some Phrecia private leagues popping up with the traditional atlas tree, but... meh. Building up Kingsmarch again after its been out for 9 months now just does not sound appealing. I didn't even bother with mappers in Phrecia. I pretty much just got the recombinator up and running and sent out 1 ship shipments with 2-3 ore fishing for gems/tattoos and even that got old after a while because of how frequently you lose a ship, it's actually ****ing stupid how often that happened.
