Ideal guy to bring in. I'd feel comfortable with Wentz if he were ever needed. Gabbert, not so much.

So far we've gotten the FA WR and QB I was hoping for. That never happens.

Andy loves to rehabilitate like he did with Michael VicK. I don't know what happened to Carson Wentz, but it sure seemed like he did have the "it factor"in the very beginning. Maybe that injury just screwed with his head. I don't know but I do trust Andy Reid and rehabilitating quarterbacks and has some of you have said he's a great back up quarterback if Andy can get him halfway rehabilitated.

Wentz seemed locked in at NDSU and in the draft process and in Philly until his first injury.
He did not seem bad until Jadeveon Clowney did that malicious intending to cause injury bullshit to get him our of the playoff game versus Seahawks. Seemed to me, that Eagles were winning that game and could be competitive in the divisional if Clowney had not pulled that shit. Wentz seemed lost after that.

This is such a beyond great signing. God forbid Mahomes goes down, but Reid could legitimately lead this team to the playoffs with Wentz playing most of the season, and that’s the first time we’ve been able to say that about our backup.

Mizzou fans remember that Ndamukong Suh messed up Gabbert's ankle in his first season as a starter and that Pinkel let him keep the job even though he was playing at 50%.
Gabbert's performance against Iowa in the bowl game was shockingly good and made him a 1st round pick, but he even ****ed that game up with a terrible interception late in the game. I am proud that he kept at it and stayed in the NFL a long time, but Gabbert did not really play great at Mizzou.

Nick Wright today said he thinks this is a reason they liked Wentz. He will do the sneaks and goal line. I love this idea. With his size imagine if the Chiefs could be something like the Eagles on those plays.
