Is there a team on the slate, or a team we're likely to run into in the playoffs, or in the SB, that has better QB/skill players than DEN, and a really good (top-10ish) defense? And what if they 'discover' the same issue with McDuffie that Sean and Coen seem to have found?

So now we are playing what ifs? It was said that a team with better weapons would exploit us. We've already played them and they didn't. It seems like you're worried about something that we've already seen isn't happening. Now if the Bills come out and steamroll then maybe it's time to worry. Not now.

I'm concerned that it looks like a bottom tier offense may have found something about McDuffie that's exploitable by better offenses.

That's what I said. Maybe it's something, maybe it's not. But the idea that Coen and now Sean Payton "seem" to have gameplanned targeting our best CB is at least interesting, and possibly concerning. Ymmv.

Everyone in the league sees McDuffie as one of the best defensive backs in the league. Like any good DB he will have a stretch where his play isn't always top notch but that doesn't mean someone "discovered " his weakness.

Don't want to bank on that continuing as a trend, but that's the difference.

Pat historically doesn't play well against Denver for some reason with a few exceptions as well.

We won several times during that long streak of wins against Denver on some flukey shit like the RB fumbling inside the 10 yard line at the end of the game etc...

McDuffie hasn’t been on the boundary for majority of games until somewhat recently. Sutton isn’t a great matchup either so it’s kind of a perfect storm. Trent will get better out there but he isn’t gaining length unfortunately.

I seem to remember the last time we lost to Indianapolis (4-12-1 in 2022). I do believe we went on to win a SB that year.
