I think Pacheco is faster but I think Barber was more powerful.

Marion looked for contact and knew how to get low and deliver the hit. He went out there to be the hammer, not the nail.

Very few RBs I can remember who ran more violently than Barber did. That guy was a Mack truck.

If there's a present comp to Barber, I think it might be Chubb. Chubb looks to punish people anytime he has the ball.

In the NFL I think it's critical to have players with attitude. The Chiefs are blessed to have a number of them, this kid brings something different to the able. He sets the tone. And he's only going to get better and better. Hell, even Clyde has brought some attitude to the running game this year. They are getting after it.

Saw this on Twitter and I agree: he looks like a faster, stronger version of Damien Williams.

Corey Dillon?

Dillon didn't have the long speed of Pacheco but ran very similarly to/through the line. Ran a little taller than he should've but seemed to know when it was time to hit a dude.

But seriously... I've got a legit comparison for Pacheco: Marion Barber.

Similar size and playing weight. Both players had this style of violent running. I think Pacheco is a shade faster, and simply due to playing next to Demarco Murray, Barber never got as many carries as he deserved (though he did get just about all goal line and short yardage work).

I think Marion Barber could have been a legit #1 RB. He wore down after a couple years as most RBs do, but that doesn't mean Pacheco will suffer the same. Keep your fingers crossed and knock on wood for his long term health!
Great minds!

His pre-preseason comp had him in the class with Dillon, Taylor, Henry, and few others as it related to his speed and ability to find the end zone:

That was posted earlier in the thread and changed my opinion of the guy.
